Spingvalley is an informal housing community situated in Witbank with an approximate population of 13 600. The Spingvalley Community Project serves this diverse community by empowering the people of Springvalley with community development, education and the cultivation of hard and soft skills. The project comprises various initiatives including the establishment of a community center being an outreach base within the community; investing in sports fields; tutoring school children and providing them with services and facilities to assist with their schoolwork; participating in a feeding scheme addressing immediate nutritional needs of the community; and upgrading specific properties.
